[Ha...]
Hi Ganesh Battula, There is no simple answer to how to determine the distance between two planes. There are several possible solutions for this request. You can do it with the following specific solution: GD&T True Position Check: This approach allows you to establish the position of one plane relative to another. Utilization of a Helper Point: By creating a point through touch-probing, you can subsequently construct a Projected Point Distance. Employing Sections to Define Distance: The shortest distance between two sections can be evaluated using the 2-curve Distance function. The Continuous Curve Distance function can be used to define the distance between two sections across their entire length. Minimum and Maximum Distances of Parallel Planes: By using a symmetric plane, you can calculate the minimum and maximum distances between two parallel planes. This analysis employs the check of the independence principle. It’s important to note that the planes must be positioned above each other. This limitation exists because the check uses a projection of one plane onto the other. Therefore, this check can be used for slots.
