Feature request - auto detect units and import mesh based on program units

Would it be possible to import a mesh into a project/GOM program and for the mesh to automatically import as mm or inch?  50% of our parts are mm and I've basically memorized all our part numbers by now, but for others they are always asking me if a part # is metric or inch, lol ;)

Our scripts take care of this when we run official reports for documentation, I'm asking if it is possible to add this to a manually dragged in mesh?
