Forward and Back mouse buttons changes views, how to disable?

I just got a CadMouse Pro from 3dConnexion.  I programmed shortcuts using the forward and back mouse buttons to switch between Zeiss/GOM and Excel.  My problem is that when I hit the shortcut to focus on Excel, the view in Zeiss/GOM changes to the "X-" view.  The "X-" view is NOT a programmed shortcut in Zeiss/GOM and the forward/back mouse buttons were not recognized as a shortcut key in the GOM software.  There is another button on the mouse that brings up a radial menu, this also changes the view when pressed.   I cannot figure out why/how the software changes the view.  Is there a way to disable this?  I am using GOM Blade Inspect Pro 2022.

This can happen due to how the mouse's software interprets certain button presses or shortcuts, especially if the mouse buttons are mapped to certain functions that the software recognizes
