Average reference picture for DIC

Hello everyone,

the iDICs guide recommends taking multiple reference images at the beginning of a DIC test and averaging those, to reduce noise in the reference condition. Is that also possible in Zeiss Inspect?

In principle, measurement noise can be determined in advance for the respective measurement by recording the measurement object without any load for a few steps and then evaluating the displacement or strain of the object.
