[Es...]
Hi, I'm trying to calibrate one and another time with a CP20/175 panel for a 2D measurement, and all times the final message is MSensorCal-0231: The pre-orientation failed. However, alll the recorded images are checked (green tick) by the software, and the orientations found completely correct. What could be the cause of the error? Any suggestion? Thanks! [Mo...]
You can check if the calibration panel are the right to the your desierd volume You can check the focal length are correct to this calibration object (desierd volume). Otherwise it could be that something changed during the calibration e.g parts of the sensor like camera position moved (working distance) a bit so the calibration bundle could not calculated. You can check the leavers and screws if they are fixed. Best regards Mohamed
[Th...]
Hi Esther, Pre-Orientation indicates often lose parts in the system (e.g. lense, mount, ...). Can you show some images which you wanted to use?! Maybe we see some indicators what went wrong.
[Iv...]
Hello Esther, please be aware that the all points of the calibration object must be visible during all steps of the calibration. The old calibration panels are using points on the edges to define the scale. If the points are out of view the calibration can't be run.
