Moving report from one template to another

Hi all, is there an easy quick way to move report pages from one template to another? Essentially have 2 machines running different versions of a program, but do not want to redo all my reporting. I was able to export my inspection elements no problem. All I need is a way to take my already completed report and move it into a different template.

Hello, I don't have enough experience to tell you exactly how you can do it. 

I think you need create a package, or if you are using the new ZEISS INSPECT 2023 it's called an Add-on. 

So, you need manage your report templates (you can see the button Manage Templates on Report section) and create a new package, export that package (or add-on) and install that at another computer. 

To install a new add-on you need to go puzzle button on your right up corner.

I don't think this is possible.....and I've tried a lot of things. The easiest (it wasn't that easy) way to do this is to take your program with your desired report....put it on a jump drive....take it to the other machine......and then swap VMR's in the program. You will have to do a lot of little things to make it work, but your report will stay intact.

I can concur that the best way to achieve this is to swap the vmr.   Depending how you have things set up you could consider having your inspection template away from the digitising step.  This might cause some compromises in intended solution by may help change management .
