[Ad...]
currently measuring a 1" section of an 8.275" radius & the values are fluctuating per run. Any suggestions on how to make this more repeatable?
[Du...]
The Most repeatable way is to use a circle and constrain the X Y and Z on the characteristic if you need the radius value and constrain the radius in a separate characteristic for the Location. [Ad...]
Do you know what the radius checkbox is for, underneath the x, y, z boxes?
[Du...]
you cant use xyz and radius in one characterstic as it will over constrain it and will not give a result. The radius checkbox would be used if you needed to know the x y or z location of the feature
[Ma...]
Those checkboxes are simple - if checked, then for evaluation is used nominal value. So usualy you will check xyz for reporting radius and with checking only radius will report xyz by evaluating measured points against nominal radius ( almost like bestfiting )
