styli 2-9 qualification

Howdy, Trying to wrap my head around how i could create a probe with 2 different styli and qualify it.
VAST XTR head, trying to have a DK2-L58 (styli 2-5) on one side and a DK0.50-L22 180 degrees opposite. Id assume the styli sequence (1 bottom, 2 back,3 right ect...) just loops back around so theoretically when qualifying my second probe (DK0.50-L22) stylist 2 is now 7?
Just wondering if this is correct and/or if anyone has a hyperlink I may have missed in my search for "complex" styli qualification

Hi Max,

the naming and numbering of your probes is free and on your own. At our XTR I just number them up from 1 (or 2) to 13 (30° steps) at my standard-stylussystems.
You just have to figure out, what work best for you

One technique I use is to use a number related to the standard 1-5, and then its index position The stylus name includes the A rotation angle.

Let's say I want to measure with the #2 stylus at different angles.
