Manual notes

Is it possible to leave a manual note in the Multiple Report? We used to measure a part manually that had an internal double lead left handed thread and checked it with a go/no-go thread gage, and the note in the report was "Accept".
How can I leave the same note in Calypso report? Result Element only allows a numerical input. How can I use text as an input?

I actually found the "Text" section on the bottom,. I never used it before, therefore I didn't know about it until today.
So it's all good, it seems to be a good solution.

Well... now the "Text" shows up in the header as well as in the bottom of the PiWeb.
I wish it didn't, but that is a small price to pay I guess.
Needless to say I tried removing it, but didn't work...

Have you looked into trying; Resources > Utilities > Textelement.
It shows up on my reports, but I do use only the Compact Report.

This is a quirk (for lack of a better word) with PiWeb Reports. PiWeb Reports used to not work with Text Elements. Starting with CALYPSO 7.2, ZEISS changed it to allow Text Elements on PiWeb Reports, but you have to manually enable it.

To do this, go to Extras->Settings->Environment. Click PiWeb Reporting and then select the checkbox labeled "upload text elements". 6663_95b6653931a4122e56960ab3a39c8d94.jpg 6663_86e2b6a8b9582e4b4982c9e14d2a319a.jpg
If you still do not see Text Elements, try these steps:
1. CALYPSO 7.2 or newer must be installed.

2. Open the measurement plan that you would like to have Text Elements upload to PiWeb for.

3. Navigate to Resources > Results to File… > PiWeb Reporting > Configuration.

4. Check-On the Upload text elements button.

5. It will look like below. One will see the elements populate into PiWeb for this measurement plan.

This Knowledge Base article also describes the process. https://portal.zeiss.com/knowledge-base?id=1260636
