[Cl...]
I'm hoping someone here has experience measuring screw threads. I'm using the O-inspect camera to measure the Major/Minor diameters. Pitch/Pitch diameter, lead angle. I just can't find the tolerances for these dimensions. I have the nominals, but don't have the tolerances They are not on the print. My engineer doesn't have them, and I haven't been able to find them online either. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 1/4 - 32 UNEF-2A

[Je...]
You should be able to find nearly all thread standards/tolerances within the Machinerys Handbook.

[Wo...]
I always use theoretical machinist website for imperial threads http://theoreticalmachinist.com/Threads ... erial.aspx It shows the thread wire size applicable to given pitch, which is nice because I immediately know if I have a stylus size within that range. Edit: Whoops, did not notice you've already found it.
[DW...]
I believe thread standards are covered in the ANSI/ASME B1.XX series. PDF downloads are available for all of them with an easy google search.

[Ow...]
I'll concur, the Machinist Handbook is priceless. However, the PDF copy I have at work (a few years old) is cumbersome, to say the least, to search for anything. Does anybody else have this problem or is there an on-line version that can be accessed with a paid subscription that would be easier? At home, I have the 15th edition book made in 1956, it's 3" thick but, I still use it occasionally. A few other web pages for threads. https://amesweb.info/Screws/metric-thre ... lator.aspx https://www.machiningdoctor.com/threadinfo/?tid=
