[Ri...]
Hello All, I'm scratching my head trying to export the XYZ point data from a few Curves that I have measured. When I just right click and export the points, when I view them, they don't look right - there are offsets in the data, and the number of points exported is only equal to the nominal point count, not the actual point count. When I view the data in a Line Profile plot, it looks correct. When I export the Curve from Calypso to Zeiss Inspect Airoil, it looks correct too. I did find the points inside of an XML file, but it isn't radius compensated yet, and it doesn't show the nominal vector, so I cannot compensate. 🙁 Anyways, anyone have any idea on how to get the actual surface data out of Calypso for a Curve? [Ma...]
It should show window with export settings. You can export nominal or actuals with or without vectors. You can export from center or calculated touch point.
[To...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Many years ago, I used to use Curve Points found at the bottom of the Results to File window. Click the help button to get info on this option.
[Ri...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Sorry, my post may not make sense. The points exported are not all of the actual points that it took. If you measured a 3:1 of actual to nominal, you only get 1:1 of actual points. I did end up figuring out how to export out of ZIA, but I am still confused. Lol. [Ha...]
Please sign in to view this quote. I find that the measured curve points can be exported by choosing the Nom/Act comparison option for the export function.
