Hello All,
Lately I have been getting a "Low Disk Space" warning on my CMM computer and am trying to delete some old measurement plans that we don't use anymore but I can't figure out how to delete them. Is there a way to Delete old measurement plans?
Thanks,

Greetings.

Go here:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Zeiss\CALYPSO\workarea\inspections

But also, external hard drives (SSD) are really cheap.. maybe worth it?

I would move them to a network drive instead. We've never deleted a program just in case. You never know.

When in doubt, 3-2-1 Backup:
3 copies of the data
2 different types of storage media
1 Additional location

I archive files older than 3 years that don't get used (I move them to the network)
I use Robocopy, so that the file date does not change

Referencing the KB article, the Windows search index bit me early this week when I was upgrading a test machine to 2024. The file was something like 90GB and rebuilding it wiped almost all of that away. KB also mentions disk space analyzers at the very end. I think Wiztree is the one I used initially to determine what was taking up so much space.

Thanks for all the replies. I will look at the Windows files to see if that frees up some disk space. The measurement plans that I was looking to delete are obsolete plans that we will not run again so I am not worried about removing them.

The AppData section for installed MSI files is a big one too. If you have parallel installs of CALYPSO, you could very easily build up 20+gb of data there (mine was over 30gb when I reviewed)
