[Lo...]
Hello everyone, I got another one. I am using a rotary table to measure a part. I used it yesterday and everything was fine. This morning as I was finding the RT position then running the RT axis. I got the error message below. I have no idea why or how come I got this message. I click ok and it comes up with the Over write message. I ran the RT axis next and it probed the severe a few times and took off on the X- axis till it stop. Has this happened to anyone.Capture5.GIF
[Ky...]
Hello Lou, I have not seen this particular error before. Just a couple of thoughts, though. I assume that the axis of the RT I assume is supposed to be in the +Z axis, correct? When you took that circle, the space axis was Z as well, correct? Also, you actually have data in that circle, right? I don't know if you opened an old program to get that circle or just made a new one and probed that circle (that's what I usually do). [Lo...]
Thank you the reply Kyle. Yes the RT is suppose to be Z+ and the circle as well. I make a new circle each time I use the RT. I have reached out to a few others and they have also said they haven't seen that error before. Did something in the RT bug out...........Maybe? [Ky...]
I honestly don't know. Is it repeatable? Does it happen any time you try to do the rough location?
[Lo...]
Yes, it happens each time I try it. I have shut it down and rebooted several times. Turned it on this morning and still doing the same thing.
[Ke...]
I would try opening a blank program, and just take probings in as many of the cardinal directions on the Ref Sphere as you can, looking at the vectors that show on screen. I have encountered a similar issue, the problem was the probehead going bad, which led to all of the vectors pointing in the wrong directions, so Calypso couldnt adequately calculate a vector or axis for the feature
[Lo...]
Thanks Kevin, I tried one more time this morning and still the same results. I moved the probe over the center of the table and the coordinates on LCD screen of the joystick box and in Calypso RT screen are way off. Pictures are attached. Currently using 2023, still have 2019 and was able to get the RT to qualified (some what) still got one negative number but it still was able to qualify the RT. Pictures are attached. Also the the trihedron on the 2019 looks correct but the one for 2023 does not picture is attached.
