Export Variable Actuals

Morning / Afternoon / Evening guys.

I've been asked to find a way to export actual variables for a run into a text or excel format.
What's the best way to go about this?

So far I've gone through a list of getParameterNamed() commands in the post setting of the program, but when I save this, all this does is export the code as a .para file.

Any ideas that doesn't involve creating features / characteristics? (There's a lot of variables and I don't want to go one by one and create a characteristic for each.)

What do you mean by "actual variables"?
Maybe you could post some code in order to get a better notion of your request.
