Cylindrical diameter plottet over length and rotation angle

Hello,

I would like to create a diagram which plots the diameter of a cylinder (z-axis) in a 3D-diagramm over rotation angle (x-axis) and length (y-axis).

Is it possible to perform this analysis in Inspect Professional 2019?

Hi Max,

this kind of diagram is not possible in the moment in our software. We can offer the minimum and maximum diameter (via GD&T functionalities). Let me kindly ask your: What is the background of your inspection purpose?

Hello Bernd,

in this case the minimum and maximum diameter is not sufficient.

The part we want to inspect has a cylindrical shape with soft features on the outer surface. The requested diagram is of interest because the diameter has influence on the pressure distribution.
