[Je...]
. Stay on your toes, Zeiss. The three keys to winning market share in metrology software: 1. Develop to customer needs. 2. Develop to customer needs. 3. Develop to customer needs. I thought these improvements in PC-DMIS's 2024.2 release are a good example of listening to the voice of the customer and developing their software based on customer needs. You're doing a great job too, Zeiss. I appreciate the work you put into Calypso 7.8. This is just a reminder that your competition is real, and you cannot isolate or rely on past successes to sustain your growth. You need to continue to innovate and meet customer needs. Your customers can identify the difference between a marketing ploy and real value-added improvement. I've noticed an aggressive emphasis within Zeiss in the past decade to operate on lean principles and growth hacking strategies. I'm not placing a judgement on this behavior, and in fact I'm a vocal advocate of Lean methodology. However, your employees tell me that they often feel the crunch of limited resources and lack of support from corporate. Stay sharp. Spend on software development and improvement. Listen to your customers. Study your competition. . .

The 2nd hand relay statement of "lack of support from corporate" is baseless however. In fact, it is quite the opposite in the US and the ZEISS US customer base benefits from this significantly. [Je...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Thanks, Jeff. I truly value your experience and testimony about this. I did base my statement from conversation with present and former Zeiss employees , but it's not a scientific, data-based claim. It's conjecture. If my statement was inaccurate, then I look forward to being proven wrong. I appreciate hearing multiple perspectives on the issue.
