Search distance after the nominal position

Hi all

I wanted to ask if it is possible to change the default parameter for the search distance after the nominal position,
so if the piece is not perfectly clamped, the cycle stops.

I know that it is possible to do this for each program, but I would like to change the default data (this way I can change thousands of programs in one go)

Unfortunately that setting is only on a per program basis. There does not exist a setting to change the default globally.

One workaround to at least have the setting be to your liking on new programs moving forward is to set up a template program. As a short summary, what you would do is create a new program and adjust all settings per your needs including search before/after nominal. Then save the program as "template" or something similar. Each time that you are creating a new program, first open the "template" program, then "save as" it with the name that you need to give this new program. Once you have done so, the template program will still exist for future use, and now you have your new program with all the correct settings that you're looking for.

No, this would be a programming task. i.e. Calypso would have to be modified. It's not something simple like a config file change.
