[Lu...]
Hello, I would like to ask you for help with the evaluation of the profile with two datums (Datum A - Plane, Datum C - Cylinder) How to ensure that all ISO/ASME rules will be followed? How to set up the datums in evaluation? 1. ISO base system 2. ASME base system. Have to be ticked normal vector in Datum C? Thank you for our help LukasDatum C.JPGDatum A.JPGBase system.jpg
[Ma...]
I don't know exactly how to set up callout with two datums correctly the way you did, so i would approach differently. Create alignment with "plane" as rotation in space ( "primární" ) Leave blank plane rotation ( "sekundární" ) Fill XYZ as needed with intersection with plane and cylinder Then make alignment from many curves. Here set base alignment to previously created one, fill your curve/s and allow ( check ) only rotation in one axis ( as defined in previously created alignment ) Now you can evaluate to this new curvy alignment. ISO and ASME would only apply in Gauss and Tangential evaluation method ( at least i think ).
