Error Code 1215

Got back from some time off, while i was gone a probe was broken. I replaced probe today and tried to requalify. My#1 position came out at .008 Sigma, i moved it to multiple side positions and it checked under .001. I moved the ball slightly and recalibrated with master probe. I'm still around that .008 sigma or its kicking back error code 1215, which says the sigma of the machine was not met and to recalibrate. I qualified another stylus in #1 position that check under .001, at this point im leaning toward the probe itself or possibly the plate. Does anyone have experience with this?

That error means the calculated S value was so high that the machine won't even let you use it, essentially.

Something is loose or damaged or dirty.

Ideas:
- The probe being loose or dirty
- any extensions or cubes could be loose
- cracked extension cause it if carbon, depending on where it's cracked it may calibrate some probes but not others
- Dirty/Damaged adapter plate
- Loose head if XXT
- Worst case is the head itself.

Thank you, I'm going to order a replacement shaft if that doesnt work ill grab a new adapter plate. Leaning towards it being the stylus more then the head because of the other stylus calibrating. Appreciate the input.
