Going from Windows 10 to 11

We are thinking about switching to Windows 11 on my laptop that has my offline seat. I only have Version 6.6 on my laptop.
Will I run into any issues if IT installs Windows 11? Will we need to install a newer SQL server?

Thanks for your thoughts.

Lincoln,

The only versions of CALYPSO that are officially supported on Windows 11 are CALYPSO 7.8 and CALYPSO 7.6 (along with service pack 7.6.16). https://portal.zeiss.com/knowledge-base?id=815374

It's possible that CALYPSO 6.6 would work on Windows 11, but it has not been officially tested. Therefore, we cannot guarantee it will work as intended and we cannot support any issues that may arise.

I hope this helps.

Thanks Lucas. The only reason we are thinking about doing this is because I am not able to open NVIDIA Control Panel. I am having issues with interacting with CAD models. Going to Windows 11 was a possible solution presented by IT. I don't know why but our IT group has decided to block the opening of NVIDIA control panel. With our security blocks in place we cant go to Microsoft store and do whatever needs downloaded or something like that. Not really sure how to fix this issue.
