[Ro...]
My Comment # 1000! And also, I'm on the road again! I put my 2 weeks notice in at my current job, and next Friday will be my last day. I'll be heading to program CMM's in a big corp Aerospace company in Jackson Michigan, only 11 minutes from home. Current commute is 45 minutes. Ill def miss the small shop feel, having an almost 500 square foot lab as my personal office, doing really cool prototype parts for all the big outer space companies, and knowing the owner as a personal friend. but things are changing here, instability is in the air, and I had this opportunity land in my lap so I'm going to take it. Leaving perfectly good jobs it something I do. I don't stick around very long when things get weird. In my new role ill be working in more of a hectic lab situation, lots of people buzzing around, I don't even know if ill have a desk of my own so I may seem to be on the forum a lot less. But hey, ill update my contact info, you guys should all connect with me.

[Ow...]
Best of Luck Roberto, I envy you! I’d probably consider less money if I could get away from the 45-minute commute that can easily turn into an hour in heavy traffic. Wife say’s I have GOMS (grumpy old man syndrome), but I hate driving anymore, too many idiots on the road. However, I do enjoy living where all you hear is a cow moo. I think you’ll love working in research/development and prototyping, I do. Challenging and I never get bored.
