change time format to 24 hour

Hi

can someone help me where I can change the time format in calypso to 24 hour instead of 12 hour AM/PM
I suppose that there is a global settings in calypso (2016)to change this? So I can change the format in my reports and also in report filenaming.

Hello Kasper,

Unfortunately I don't think the Windows date format actually controls this. At least based on the quick tests I did on my computer, it seems to be dependent on the language setting in Calypso (extras>settings>environment in the language tab). When I have it set to English, it uses the 12 hour clock. If I change it to German, it uses the 24 hour clock.

Thank you for answer, and you are right about that with language, I just tried to change it to german, and then it is in 24 hour format
But i will not prefer the german language in the program, so I will se if i can get a workaround with my problem... thanks for helping me out 😮) and have a nice day

If you are using PiWeb, you can edit the report to show a custom Date format.

M/d/yyyy hh:mm

This will get you the Month/Day/Year 24 Hour Time.

You're running Calypso 2016 so, if you're using the old custom report, you might be able to change the header (vphead) to report in the 24 range or adding a userfield entry box?
I'm running a newer version that doesn't even have the custom report in it so, I can't test it. In fact, it's been so long since I've used the custom report that I wouldn't even know where to start to edit it off memory but, I do have a lot of older instruction documents if you did want to try it, let me know and I'll share them.
Also (you probably already know this),
If you use the excel report (a lot do so they can combine multiple reports for statistical evaluation), you can change the time reported by opening the characteristic report, clicking in the box below time and choose format cells.

but there has been quite busy here with some other things the last couple of days

But I have now change the format in the report layout, so that's great.
So now it's only the file naming where I have some challenge, but I have some things to tryout

The reason for I want to control the file naming is that we have 3 other CMM machines, so we would like them to have the same file formatting structure. There other machines are not running Calypso but PC DMIS, so there is some differences!
