How to stop Rounding when Creating new features?

On some programs, when I create a feature using recall, it will round the x,y,z coordinates to nice round numbers, instead of the actual numbers. I've seen it even when just taking points on the model. Does anyone know how to stop this?

Thanks.

You can adjust your rounding settings in Extras > Settings > Measurement > Nominal and change the rounding there.

Also, if you are using recall you may want to consider unchecking Update Nominal Geometry if you would like to retain the original feature nominals while using recalled points.

Thank you. That should solve this for all current and future inspection programs right?

Also, do I have to worry about unchecking "Update Nominal Geometry" if I'm working offline and have never measured a part on the particular program?

Both are ways to turn this on and off. I worked with a guy that was doing trigonometry to calculate the angle between Datum -B- to Datum -C- when they where not in line. Because he didn't know that you can use the Rotate to distance in Base/Start Alignment.
Every program that he wrote where bad because it was rounding the Trigged Angle making the Base alignment bad. We had to delete 3 years of program.
$$$$ This was a large Aerospace company.
Calypso has quarks but non trained users are the biggest problem. I would say that most CMM programmers can't check there results. Bad input is bad output. CMM are only tools! Tools used wrong is why engineers don't trust CMM results in most company's.

If you don't know then ask. There is lots of people in this community that can help you figure it out.
Company's also need to invest in training and good training. Zeiss does a good job. Your training is incomplete you will need good GD&T training.

Thanks
Dan

Resources >> Features Settings Editor >> Units >> Number of Decimal Places. You can set it to what you want.

I would like to still keep nominal and measurement results to four decimal places shown but have nominal picked from CAD rounded to the third decimal places. Reason is I have to manually round up or down the nominal in Characteristic tab.
