Force Print of Piweb Report

I'm sure this question has been answered somewhere here in the past, but I have yet to find it. Can someone tell me how to force a copy of the PiWeb Report to print after an Autorun program is complete? I have "send results to printer" selected in AutoRun and the Measurement Plan. I've also gone to Environment>Printer>select define printer for Calypso and Measurement plan. Is there something I'm missing? I don't understand why I need to turn on the print feature in 3 different areas just to have the report printed automatically.

In the multiple report window, there some icons about 2/3's the way down. There's a screen for displaying a report, then a printer for printing the report. Click this icon enables the ability to print. Also, an icon for creating a pdf of the report

So, today one of the machinists asked if we could start saving a PDF of past inspections so they would have the ability to go back and look at a past run. When I need to recall the results of a particular part, I usually just do a subsequent evaluation. However, this wouldn't be a great option for the machinists. I tried to set-up the autosave of PDFs in the same method as the auto print, but I can't seem to get it working.

Could you give me any resources on setting up PiWeb to save the reports to a custom folder location, such as a "Machine 001 PiWeb Results"?

Thanks in advance!

You have to enable pdf export. I think you have to go into "Results to file" and enable there ( same thing is possible in autorun definition of program / pallet - or go to "Multiple Printout" and click on pdf icon to enable.

Then you have to edit pdf file name "Resources -> Name for output files" to set a name and path for pdf

Good day Dylan,

So as Tom pointed out, you want to activate your Print and PDF buttons from the multiple report window. Make sure those boxes are checked on. That is really the only spots you need to activate for PiWeb reports for PDFS and prints. The other options you mentioned are for legacy reports and are not needed for PiWeb.

To select a customized location for your PDF reports, here is a link on how to set that up. Just select PiWeb reporting PDFs in the drop down for your customized directory. If you do not do this, it would store your PDFs in the default directory which is typically the Results folder in the CALYPSO directory.
