Combining 2 reports into one report

Hello everyone,

is there a way to combine 2 reports into one report?
Why my question?
I am measuring a tool and only output the test characteristics in the StandardProtocol.ptx and only want to output the plots in the PlotProtocol.ptx.
In CALYPSO this works by defining 2 reports in the definition of multiple protocols. After finishing the measurement I can view both protocols one after the other.
If I call up my measurement in the PiWeb reporting plus database, the user needs to know that 2 separate reports exist. It would be better if both reports of the selected measurement were displayed immediately without selecting the 2nd report, which the user may not know anything about.

Is there a solution for this now?

You must either combine the programs on the CALYPSO side so that they output a single database from CALYPSO
OR
Utilize PiWeb SBS/Enterprise. PiWeb SBS and Enterprise allow the linking of databases to combine reports in the manner you are seeking.

There is no supported method for achieving this through PiWeb Reporting or PiWeb Reporting+.

Hi, Winfried

If I understand right, you want to combine standardprotocol and plotprotocol.
U can open your standardprotocol in piweb designer and in page menu right click on Plot page and uncheck hidden. (refer to my .png I sent)

I also suggest to check option in protocol properties to actualize all pages after loaded data* as pages with graphics wont be loaded before you turn to last page of protocol.

*not sure how its called in eng version, but you can refer to 2nd .png in attachements)

hidden plot.jpgactualize all pages.png

Robins method is probably one of the easier ways to achieve a full graphics plot along with the standard report in one report/PDF file.

Another method is using ghost scripts. This would involve a simple download and toggling it on and doe snot require any modification of the PiWeb template itself which could be easier for some users. This will essentially see the two seperate PDF report files and generate a third PDF that is combined file of the two.

Here is the guide to ghost scripts:
