Potentially upgrading Calypso

I am running 2019 on a Contura G2 with an RDS. I am wondering what kind of issues I am likely to encounter upgrading to a newer version. I know I have heard of issues with SQL and what not. Is there a guide that walks through the process? Also I know there have been licensing changes along the way, so going from 2019 to say 2023 or 2022 will I likely have problems?

Matthew - There is a guide on the Knowledge Base of the ZEISS Portal that will walk you through the updates for CALYPSO:

It discusses licensing, software installation, new functions, etc. If you have full admin user rights and follow the instructions, installation typically goes pretty smoothly.

The guide Caitlin posted is very helpful for the upgrade process. I would say that considering the model of your CMM and its potential age, I would check the release notes for whatever version of Calypso you are planning to go to in order to find the necessary Firmware version of the CMM and compare to your currently installed firmware to see if you will need that upgraded before your Calypso update, as well as the approved Windows versions (in case you are on a no longer supported version). You will also need a license for Calypso.

You can always have both 2019 an 2023 installed in parallel also. Just incase you want to go back.
