[Ro...]
Hello guys, we have an old warning light that we turn on and off with a switch that indicates whether the CMM is running or not. I am in the process of automating this. I can control the lamp with the inspection_start and inspection_end files, but if there is a collision or other error, I can't catch it and the lamp stays on the "CMM running" state even though its not running. Is there any way to catch errors or collisions with PCM or other tools?
[Ke...]
I do not believe there is a way via pcm, collisions and errors trigger with highest priority and stop all processes before anything else would be able to send a message indicating the status has changed to the light. [Mi...]
It's not used a lot, I've never actually seen anybody talk about it, but if you go to Extras>Settings>CMM> Light Signal Zeiss can natively control it to some degree, the picture shows your standard 3 level light tree. I'm also not going to be surprised if it's only in part of a larger, expensive, module but maybe it's not?

[Ro...]
Thank you Eric, that file is my solution. I'll just read it with a pythonskript. Awesome!
