[To...]
I posted about this before. Our DuraMax was not able to connect but many weeks later, when we tried again, it a was ok. We have been running the machine as usual but now, the problem is back and we have no idea what has changed. Replaced network cable. No change. I can't locate the original post so I can't see if someone posted a legitimate fix.
[Da...]
Do you have an extra control box to see if the problem is there? I had a contura with similar issue and this is what fixed it.

But i'm not at my desk now and I can't get search to find it. I will send it to you on Monday unless someone else finds it before then.

[Br...]
HI Tom, can you give me more detail?? when does it not connect? do you get a kmgio error or does it hang when it initializes?
[Do...]
We had an ongoing connection issue with our Contura G2 as well. Our fix was to create a new machine tab under Extras >Settings > CMM. We believe that when we had upgraded the machine from Calypso 2017 to Calypso 2021, that machine tab file may have gotten corrupted. This resolved our issue for a period of time, until the hosts file began having trouble (an internal IT problem) where the file would be regularly backed up to a previous version that no longer had the machine IP addresses saved. Both would give us a connection error. Best of luck!

[Mi...]
Assuming the network cable is connected to the correct RJ45 port and that port is setup with the statis 192.4.1.199 IP, and the PC is recognizing it as connected. I would suggest a new machine tab also. More often than should be, we've had people swap the ethernet cables into the wrong jacks and not be able to figure out why the CMM isn't connecting. [To...]
Please sign in to view this quote. This is something I have not tried. Will update when done. * * * Update * * * I was preparing to create a new tab via zoom and the operator on the other end said, "I don't know if I mentioned this before, but IT was trying to install a wireless network adapter." Need I say anything more? They set the network adapter for the cmm to DHCP..... SMH
[Ri...]
I'm convinced that most IT departments create their own issues, so that they can help fix them to justify their job. 🙂
