[Ch...]
Does anyone else have CMM Check 1.0 or 2.0 with Eumetron Software? We finally got ours, and wow, the Eumetron has literally no instructions how to build any probes, how to run anything on the Calypso side, I've figured most of it out so far, but I am surprised Eumetron or Zeiss would allow this, seems like very poor business. They have parameterized many programs - but I think in this case it is not the best approach due to many different setups, etc. Update : I spoke to an Apps Engineer and has made things a bit more clear. Advice for anyone else with this is contact Eumetron have the explain how this works, and know that if requires a third party application to run outside of Calypso. [To...]
Please sign in to view this quote. We have one, but it's not the rotary table version. I don't specifically remember the term "Eumetron". There should be a pdf in the cmm program describing all of the steps. It's little confusing at first, but once you do it a few times, it's not too bad. I assume you got it calibrated. The calibration data needs to be entered into the program.
[Ch...]
Tom, Yes, thank you. I have read through the manual, no mentions at all of Calypso, probes, set-ups etc. Company is definitely Eumetron - with it's "CMM Monitoring" software. Is yours Zeiss only ? e.g. Calypso program only ? Perhaps because we have a floating dongle license ? I have looked inside the multiple Calypso program, no sign of PDF or set up instructions. If there were it is definitely not linked to User Info for measurement start, etc. Thanks for the info. Chris

[Fr...]
We have the 2.0 version. No rotary. The probes came with ours. just mount on plates. It is very confusing at times, but it's a learning process. Only a few Zeiss techs know how to run this. The instructions helped once i understood them. 🤣
