[Ka...]
Hey everyone, trying to figure out if there is a way to get the logged in "user" to report out. To be more clear, we currently have the operators choose their names from a dropdown list and then have that reported out. We recently had an issue where someone was running parts under a different name to avoid responsibility for something. We have been using a generic "User" login for the CMMs that has limited privileges, so I went and created user logins for each operator we have. Is there any way where we can force the user logged in to be the name that is on our printed reports, and lock them out of changing the name? Thanks 😃
[Jo...]
Yes, The standard report has "Operator" field for Zeiss user, and there is another variable that pull windows log in credentials for name. I will update thread with those values when I can interrupt . ${CurrentUser} ${Qdb.Measurement(8, -1)} use both to ensure they would need both passwords to defeat system
[Jo...]
This data is also available in measurement selection as filter. It could help investigate suspect reports.filter.JPG
