[Ma...]
Most of it can be done by using template program. Not sure how will blocking edges look like after placing model and new base alignment. I think no characteristic can be marked to be hidden by default. Some filters, rounding and other stuff can be setup elsewhere in Calypso to be as default strategy and evaluation and can be loaded. I can not look now
[Mi...]
default settings for clearance and retract distance under Extras ➝ Settings ➝ Measurement: Definitions of the travel paths Extras ➝ Settings ➝ Measurement: Definitions of the nominals and tolerances: roundoff.. number of decimals Extras ➝ Settings ➝ Environment: Lanquage -> decimals As far as I know there is no possibility to change the default settings for blocked edges or marked characteristics. [Ro...]
I use a template called MPS for Measurement Plan Starter. Its got all the settings I use for block edges, cnc end park position, units, file export to our data gathering programs, its got my standard set of Aerospace dims I use with my most common tolerances pre loaded. I also have my clearance cube set very high in +Z (14 inches), so if I forget to set my cube, just after doing the base alignment the stylus will take off in +z which I know is an alert that something is wrong. However the last thing I do when I'm done with a program is to open Measurement plan editor and edit the travel speed all the way down to 30, retract distance, clearance distance, then move to stylus system and stylus. If I'm using Free Form I go to Strategy Speed and I edit the scan speed which on my machine is set to 0.118 inch or 3mm/s and I edit strategy Step Width to .040" or 1mm if in metric. It sounds like a lot, but it only takes about 5 minutes for a small or medium size programcdhfjasdljfsdvgfsldkjzadvfkj.PNG
[st...]
Please sign in to view this quote. this worked very well, but there is no "off" in de roundoff settings
[Ch...]
The round off setting is only for display purposes. There is no reason to turn it "OFF" because the software will always pass/fail (red/green) based off the non-rounded values (out to 15+ decimal places) occurring behind the scenes of the software. Setting a decimal round off value is only affecting the visual value in the windows, not the actual result outcome on a report. For example, notice below how in the first image the result 0.472 would be green considering the callout is 0.471+/- 0.001 however as soon as you display more decimals you can see CALYPSO was basing the pass/fail off the non-rounded 0.427244094... value.
