Base Alignment Feature?

I'm looking for opinions on which would be better to use for a base alignment.
A symmetry or a symmetry plane. Is one better than the other for alignments?

It depends on if you can use one probe conf.
Sym plane gives you ability to have material condition, but you need to have same number of points on both sides.
Symmetry uses two calculated planes so number of points don't affect result.
