[Ma...]
Hello I am measuring a inside circle on cone in Calypso 7.2.0 and sometimes it starts beside the hole and drags the probe in to the hole before it starts measure. I tried to change to outside measurement as a test but the it stops for collision when it reach the face. It doesn't stop when I use inside. Any ideas? [Ro...]
What's your retract distance? Go into Measurement plan editor and select "Probing" then "Search distance before nominal position" and put a large number in there, say 0.100" or 0.200". That'll force the machine to start back a ways and slowly glide into probing position.fdjshgfvdhjsgsdgfdkjsgfd.PNG
[Ch...]
Is the nominal position of the hole correct? If so it should at the very least start in the middle. If you haven't installed a CALYPSO Service Pack as of yet it may be worth while to ensure you aren't encountering any bugs: https://portal.zeiss.com/knowledge-base?id=860897
[Ma...]
I will try the latest servicepack and se if it solves the problem. The search distance didn´t help. The strange thing is that if I change to circle it works, change back to circle on cone ..doesn't work. Lets hope that the service pack do the magic, Thanks for your tip
[Ri...]
Please sign in to view this quote. I would think the vectors are wrong. If its an ID, the vectors should be toward the inside of the feature, this seems like they are pointing outside the feature.
[To...]
can you post a screenshot of the feature window? Also, what are your clearance distance and retract distance values?
