[To...] Posted January 5, 2022 Share Posted January 5, 2022 Has anyone used the License Manager page on the portal? https://portal.zeiss.com/software-license/activation As a dealer with unique licensing arrangements, we don't use it but I'm trying to help a customer out and wasn't sure if it was working. [Er...] Posted January 5, 2022 Share Posted January 5, 2022 Yes, We have used the license manager for updates. It's pretty simple really. Sometimes though, they don't have the updated licenses available, and I have had to call Zeiss to get them. As soon as they show up, we then Download/install or whatever it is to the Zeiss License management tool. Works pretty good. For activation, we might have? I don't remember. In theory you would upload file created in the ZLAU which i believe is the Zeiss license management tool and it returns the license for you to activate. [Ün...] Posted January 6, 2022 Share Posted January 6, 2022 The licenses were deleted due to an error in the device. https://portal.zeiss.com/software-license/activation I downloaded the .xlm file but it didn't work. installation failed. Zeiss technician installed the licenses by downloading the file from the link below https://portal.zeiss.com/download-cente ... /134691[PG] I think Zeiss has updated their licensing system.
