Unhandled Exception: Message not understood: #LocalPointToGlobal

Hello all. Just recently this error message has been showing up and i have no idea as to why it is. I havent changed anything in the software so im confused as to what may be causing it.

When does it appear and is it every time that action is performed?

It would show up sometimes when i close any features/characteristic windows and sometimes not. I restarted my computer and the calypso software and it hasn't come back for the last hour or so. I can only assume it didn't recognize the home position from startup

Interesting. I suppose I would just keep any eye on it and look for any patterns. Often times if you can find a pattern it can be much easier to troubleshoot and resolve. 😃

I get the same on two v2022 installs (Installed by Zeiss within weeks of each other).
I will try to see if it is the same error and post next time it comes up.
Normally restarting Calypso temporarily resolves it.

Conversely, was the error notice title written by a woman?
I get a similar error from my girlfriend.

Me: trying to explain something.
Her: Unhandled Exception
Her: Message not understood
Her: #LocalPointToGlobal (As in, all men globally).

You may have already done so but I would ensure you have installed the latest Service Pack for your respective CALYPSO version. Guide: https://portal.zeiss.com/knowledge-base?id=860897

If it was a global problem with one version there is a good chance it will have been fixed in the update. Maybe worth a shot.
