[Lo...]
Hello everyone, I am working on a gear and need to show a K Chart. I attached a few pictures of what I have setup and the report. Not sure what I am missing but the K Chart is not on the report. I attached a picture of the report and a few the profile setup window. Thanks for any assistance. [Ky...]
Hello Lou, So, the y values you are giving it are very large relative to the values on the diagram in the middle. Are you putting in diameter values on the right and have it set to roll diameter or something? You'll have to make sure you are entering it in the same units (roll distance/angle/mm/inches or whatever). Right now I think the K-chart is just way off to the top. [Ky...]
Incidentally, this document will help you switch the units from diameter to roll diameter or angle or radius, assuming you don't know. Just in case you find it helpful: https://portal.zeiss.com/knowledge-base?id=896605
[Lo...]
Kyle thanks for the information. The K Chart was setup on diameter instead of roll angle. The K diagram still doesn't look correct. But I don't need the K chart for now so I am not going to worry about it too much. But will revisit it soon. Thanks again.
