[Ro...]
My offline computer with calypso is running an old version (Calypso 2020 version 7.0.02.05) I would like to update to current Calypso 2023 7.6. Can I just upgrade to new version without problems. Thanks in advance
[Pa...]
I'm not super versed in the offline seat, but we are using the trial offline seat at the moment, and I've got both 2020 and 2023 installed at the same time with seemingly zero issues.
[Mi...]
Assuming you're entitled to the newer version you can install multiple versions on the same machine. I have almost every version from 4.0 to 7.2 installed on my laptop. The main issue is you generally must install oldest to newest. If you have 7.2 installed and try to install 5.0 after that you'll likely have problems.

[Ky...]
Hello Ron, As most of the other people in this chat have mentioned, I think, moving from 7.0 to 7.6 should not be terribly difficult. I know Michael mentioned he has 4.0 to 7.2, but I've had issues upgrading programs and moving config folders over from versions that old. 7.0, though, as I mentioned should not be an issue. If you uninstall 7.0 and then install 7.6, you shouldn't have many issues, assuming you are licensed, but if want to keep 7.0 on there, you will likely need to backup and move folders over to the new version. This document should help you find what files to move: https://portal.zeiss.com/knowledge-base?id=444235. This document should help you find where you would find them and where to move them to in the new version: https://portal.zeiss.com/knowledge-base?id=442607. I hope you find this helpful
[Mi...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Yes due to the totally different file structure you'll have to setup anything older the about Version 6.0 with machine tabs and entire configuration by itself, then not have Calypso import them when you do the install of the higher version. Although you should be able to let Calypso Auto Import the config from anything from 6.0 and higher without issues, at least that has been my experience.
