[Th...]
Why isn't Calypso allowing the use of two different styli to check a feature? I want to use the first stylus to move to the spot and prompts the operator to rotate the part to it, then changes to the second stylus to start measurement.4.PNG2.PNG1.PNG
[ni...]
Hi, It should work, I do that some time for starting the programme, the operator put the part in touch with the stylus, tape enter and the cnc change the system of stylus to mesure the part. Your clearance data seems fine, you have to check witch stylus / system of stylus is used for your probing point. hope it help. Bye
[Ri...]
Open the "Probing Point" and see the name f the stylus tip, it looks like you do not have the correct name of the stylus tip available in your system. That's why the first image has the tip in RED.
[Th...]
I'm using stylus system 5, styli -Z to position and then stylus 12, styli +Y to measure. If I use each stylus system individually then they work fine.
[To...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Break this up into 2 features, measuring with the 2 different stylus systems. Then, create a plane feature, select "Recall Feature Points", select the 2 planes. Click OK/
[Mi...]
I have tried with a 7.6 and it works. You need to programming manually and, once you done it, you can't change the styli with "measurement plan editor features". The better way is re-do the plan and, when you close/"ok" the plan, put the "NO" on the question.
