[To...]
Many years ago, you could select "Move in Part Alignment System" in the traffic light window. Then, select the part alignment or a secondary alignment and then you could jog the machine around relative to that alignment. Is it broken or am I broken? [Ow...]
Hmmmm, um, Running 2023 and my traffic light says "joysticks: Move to.." right underneath the traffic lights. Then a drop-down menu to select which alignment you want it to move in. Additionally, you can go to Plan, travel to nominal position and a window pops up where you can select what alignment and input dimensions you want it to travel to automatically in different increments. [To...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Thanks Owen. However, there was one more step I needed to do. I had to click the icon next to the hand icon in order for the "Move to...." dropdown menu it to show up. In older versions, you could manually adjust the various regions to expose that option. I was trying to manually probe a small circle feature at an odd angle and far from it's correct location, so running it cnc mode wasn't an option.
