PCM to find and rename, plus change C Distance method.

I would like to use PCM to edit a large list of characteristics.
1. Find all characteristics with ".Max" in the string (It will be at the end or in the middle).
1a. Delete this feature. If it belongs to "Caliper Distance" (C Distance).
1b. Skip if not belongs to "Caliper Distance".
2. Find all characteristics with ".Min" in the string (It will be at the end or in the middle).
2a. Edit this characteristic to remove ".Min" from the string if it belongs to "Caliper Distance" (C Distance).
2b. Both search parameters, "Min" and "Max" are in "Groups"
2c. After Item "1" is completed, then Item "2, 2a" is completed, Ungroup the characteristic.
And then...
3. Change the "Caliper Distance" method from Minimum to Center, which may be one or both features involved in the characteristic.

Any help structuring this with PCM would be appreciated.

Editing this large program manually will take about 8 hours.
