Fine or rough spectrum on test specimen

I have a question about the spectrum that needs to be sprayed on researched specimen.
If we want to have a accuracy of 0.05 and want to measure this in the software, do we need to spray a fine pattern or a rough pattern on the specimen?

The tested area will be 259.2 mm x 172.8 mm.

The pattern itself based on different parameters of your measurement setup such as your camera resolution, measuring volume etc.. 

For a hint check our new ARAMIS App. If you use a IOS mobile phone you will receive a sample pattern for your measuring volume.
