Moving the part in the machine envelope in Planner

It seems like there should be a way to do this. I'm running offline Planner, and I need to tweak the position/orientation of the part within the CMM's measuring envelope. How would I do that? FYI, I'm on version 6.0.12 (2015 SP3)

I would start by activating the measurement plan simulation in "Planner-Measurement Plan Simulation", if you are able to. With that active I would then use
in order to show the CMM model (if you are using one of the models that are included, check your release notes for specific model and size). This will make it easier to tell where the model is in the CMM. From there, you can open the CAD-Modify CAD ENTITIES menu and use the Transformation and Positioning tabs to move the model.
As a note, the "drag base alignment" setting will only be available when you have the Simulation open

Thanks! It's also important to note that the position and transformation tools don't become available until the cad enties to reposition/reorient have been selected in the "Heirarchy" tab.
