[Me...]
Hello, Is there a way to edit and manage user settings for 20 different users by editing a master file and importing the settings? My experience thus far is to log into Master then each user individually to change settings. I want a more efficient way. Thank you.
[Br...]
Hello, Unfortunately, there is no "bulk management" way of setting users. Good suggestion.... i would go to the My Voice section of the portal and suggest this.
[Iv...]
I agree with Bruce on his input and recommendation of a suggestion. I'm not sure if this is relevant to you, but I succeeded in saving time when adding existing users to a different PC. On your established system, go to System Settings: User → Profile. Copy and navigate to the Home-Folder directory. With Calypso closed, copy all desired users and paste them into the identical directory of your new CMM. Once added, open Calypso and go to the System Settings: User → Admin window. Type in the identical user name to the Name dropdown and hit the add button once completed. This process should load the pre-established privileges. This process is only really applicable when you have multiple CMM stations with users at different privileges. [DW...]
Could you just lump people into one of a few categories with different permissions? For example, anyone you trust to make changes to the programs, uses the "Programmer" profile. Anyone you only want to run programs and thats it, uses the "Technician" profile. Just a thought.
