Not a fan of this type of callout.
I ran a circle at the far edges of both bores then recalled into a 3d line . Put a few more circles on both diameters and asked for runout back to the 3D line. I guess I report the highest runout value? Is that correct or is there a better way??

So, 3 diameters on each cylinder, Recalled all 6 into a stepped cylinder and went back and asked for runout of each circle to the stepped cylinder?

Based on the callout of runout, it would be just one circle. Total runout would be all three.

I agree, But I've always had a problem with that... Depending on where the diameter is along the cylinder, the number can vary a great deal. I would want to find the worst reading, so worst of three seems to make sense to me.

What's the functionality of this part? There might be a better way to evaluate. Of course that's up to the customer.

Unfortunately, we are a service to OUR customer who is a subcontractor for THEIR customer. Makes it hard to get straight answers. 😉
