Accura's safety sensor malfunction? Fixed

There are two sensors on the Accura and the one on the front is flashing the key symbol constantly which slows the movement of the cmm down. I don't see anything that could cause it to trigger the slower speed. Is the sensor going bad or something that I can adjust?

This sensor was recently replaced when the old one went bad during the yearly calibration done by Zeiss.

Edit: I wiped all around the sensor and it's working back to normal.
