[Ry...]
Hello All - Reposting in a more populated area of the forum in case anyone missed it... We are running a 10-Week Series, starting March 19 and running through May 23. Below is some info: 🧑💻 👩🏫 🧑💻 👩🏫 🧑💻 I'll be teaching most weeks' topics, with a few of my guys taking their "special" topics for a few weeks to mix it up. Basically, this is an outlet for me to get away from manager things here at ZEISS and play around in CALYPSO for a few hours a week, reliving my glory days as a CALYPSO jockey from 1999 to 2017. I still remember a thing or two... This is the 5th series I have done, but this time with new material... I got tired of telling the same old jokes, so I decided to go after new topics. It's also a reason for you to step away from your daily grind for an hour two times or so a week and LEARN SOMETHING NEW. As it says, every Tuesday is a different topic - you will get about 10 pages of notes and a "try-it" activity to do if you want. Every Thursday is a quick review of the activity and Q&A session. As those that have participated before will know, you never know where the Q&A session will end up, as the discussion is largely driven by the attendees and their questions. Often times the most valuable nuggets of information picked up by attendees was not even the weekly topic at hand - it was the journey through the topic that revealed the valuable bits of info. I ended up learning some cool things I never knew were possible while poking around in these sessions, as well! Feedback from old sessions has shown attendees like the format and the ability to have a slow-drip of CALYPSO knowledge coming their way over time, without having completely giving up a week like attending a standard curriculum ZEISS class. I would encourage you to broadcast about this course series on LinkedIn, Zeiss's marketing emails, and other methods. I'm very excited about this, and I'd like to get more info about it.
