problems with importing SCC file

hi guys, me again

we are having this problem for the last few days, and we just can't figure it out

we updated to 2021 last year and I've been working with the same probe for the entirety of that year
but couple of days ago i had to create a new probe in the "stylus system creator" , a longer and bigger diameter one

so I copied my "working" shorter tool in the "stylus system creator" changed the extension and probe to what i needed and saved it under a different name

but when i import the SSC file into calypso it says the tool itself is shorter than the masterprobe.

i have no idea what's happening , so any help would be appreciated

here are some examples:
notice the +-140mm difference in the length of the tool , but the tool is actually longer than the working one

The negative value indicates that it is lower than the center of the MasterProbe - in this case, longer.

If the value was positive, that would mean that it is higher than the center of the MasterProbe.

Edit: Please remember that all of the CMM coordinates (and it's orientation) come from the MCS which is the home position (typically in the top left corner of the machine).

i understand that 🙂 , i just don't understand why it gives me the +7 value , where it should be -140

so in offline simulations the probe crashes in every way

Ahh. I understand now. I wonder if there is an issue with the MasterProbe you are using from SSC. You can try creating a new one, and using that when you import your new probe.
