[Jo...]
Hello, I'm looking for a pre-owned ZEISS PRISMO ultra or ZEISS PRISMO verity for my business. I need submicron accuracy. Size has to be 7105 or just slightly larger. Hoping to find something 2018 or newer. Appreciate any leads! Thanks! Joe at Galaxy Metrology

[Jo...]
Chris, Similar to the attached. These are newer so it will be hard to find pre-owned. I need the accuracy. ThanksPrismo Ultra.jpg
[Ch...]
John, understood, we're actually in the market for an Ultra as well. I'll keep an eye out for a used one. If you have the work for it - is lease-to-buy an option, given the longer lead times for these ? Good luck.
[To...]
Ask your RSM for machines on the Available to Sell (ATS) list.
[Ma...]
Please sign in to view this quote. I'm quite sure the UPMC850 Ultra accuracy spec was better than even the smaller Prismo Ultras. They are also slow, stable, and extremely reliable. Unfortunately the UPMC machines get limited if any support from Zeiss at this point.
[Je...]
Make sure you review the entire purchase process with your RSM and AMS specialist to avoid unforeseen costs that come with machine relocation, calibrations and software license purchase. The hidden costs associated with purchase through auction sales or unofficial ZEISS channels can often equate to the new machine being a more economical decision. [Da...]
What Jeffry said!!!!! We purchased a used Micura and after the licenses and calibration and moving costs it would have been cheaper to buy new!
[Je...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Unfortunately this is not uncommon. All too often our customers purchasing teams think that they are saving a boat load of capital by purchasing auction equipment. The associated costs that come with second hand purchase (that are written into a new purchase without line-item breakout) usually result in a total cost exceeding that of a brand new, warranty included machine. This isn't even factoring in the issues that may accompany a used machine in terms of service needs and repair. If you are involved in the discussions for new equipment purchases, you would be wise to advise those that sign the checks to save your organization time, stress and money, by buying from ZEISS directly or an official ZEISS distributor to ensure your important equipment purchase is handled correctly and transparently.
