[Lo...] Posted February 26 Share Posted February 26 Our company has recently moved to Plex. They want to send CMM data to Plex. Is anyone familiar with how to do this? We currently use a custom print out and print everything, so this will be totally different for us. Is there another additive software that makes this handshake more Plesant? [Er...] Posted February 29 Share Posted February 29 If it's anything like our system, you will need to export some sort of file that can then be imported into the plex software. We are using the characteristic table files that Zeiss already has in place, that are exported to a central file location. A schedular from the system software runs often, reading any of the new exported files, collecting the data and importing to the correct sample number, per order and part number we are running. It then archives the text file to another file location. I don't know if this helps, but I just thought I would throw it out there. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I knew we had some time since last time i asked, but that time has come, and management wants to get data off the CMM into Plex. I don't know anything about the import option of plex so that would fall under someone else I'm hoping.
