Saving settings in PiWeb

Hi Tom,

Would you consider making a Measurement Specific template for that program? Instead of saving the template in C:\Users\Public\Documents\Zeiss\CALYPSO 7.2\protocol\PiWebReportingTemplates, it will save the template in the Measurement plan folder.

Or, you could Mark characteristics for hiding and that would save with your inspection plan?

Just a thought.

If you were using PiWeb SBS or Enterprise, and you wanted Trend Protocol to only show critical characteristics, I'd probably flag them as critical in Planner and put a button on the Trend Protocol header to "Show Criticals Only" and that would immediately truncate the data binding selection to only critical or monitored characteristics.

Hi Laura, I was pretty that I had already marked them for hiding but I will check. Will that hide values collected run prior to hiding them?

I forgot to click the Hide button....SUPER DOH

Did it work out for you? If it's any consolation I always forget to toggle the hide button, too. I also forget whether I'm supposed to turn them ON or OFF if I don't use that function for a while..

I masked the characteristics on inspection plan and it still show up Piweb. What I masked are the curves and Graphic elements.
Any solutions to the original question by Tom?
